Terms & Conditions - Postal and Personal Applications

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

REGISTRATION: For the safety and enjoyment of all, a maximum of 7000 entries will be accepted in 2012. Registration will end when either the maximum number of entries has been received or Saturday, 31 March, 2012 whichever is sooner [no late entries will be accepted and no entries are accepted on the day of the Great Midlands Fun Run, Sunday, 10 June]. Entries will be accepted on a first to register, first to run basis.

If your postla/personal application is accepted entry fee adults £17; juniors [14 & under on 10 June] £10; dogs £5 is non-refundable.

Your official 2012 Great Midlands Fun Run sponsor form, will also act as your receipt and will only be issued after acceptance of your completed entry form. If entering in person your receipt/sponsor form will be issed at the time of entry.

Otherwise receipt/sponsorship forms will be dispatched to your nominated address within ten working days and your runners information pack, including your run number will be posted 2nd class on Monday, 14 May, 2012.

All entry forms must be signed. If you are entering a junior [14 & under on 10 June] a parent or legal guardian must sign th form to accept the terms and condition.

Remember you can nominate a charity, voluntary organisation or community interest group of your choice to receive the money you raise in sponsorship. The GMFR will, where possible, add further money to that which you raise which means you can gain even greater benefit from your fund raising efforts. If raising sponsor money off-line via the official Great Midlands Fun Run sponsor form, please ensure you follow the paying-in instructions using your personalised Lloyds TSB credit slip included in your event information pack, which you will receive in the post before the event on 10 June.

Great Midlands Fun Run is not responsible for applications lost in the post and proof of posting is not proof of receipt. You enter the Great Midlands Fun Run entirely at your own risk and the organisers will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained by you or for any property lost before, during or after the event. By completing, signing and submitting your entry form, you confirm that you are medically fit to particpate in the 8.5 mile event.

You agree to support and pay all sponsor monies raised by you off-line to the 'Great Midlands Fun Run only. You may wish to enter in person by taking your completed entry form and entry fee to the Our Place Community Hub, Farthing Lane, Sutton Coldfield, between 10am and 3pm Monday - Friday.

On safety grounds, all junior entrants - without exception - must assemble and start from the Junior/Family Assembly Area in South Parade. Any juniors whose course time indicates they have started from the Adult Assembly Area, may have their course time removed from the official results published on the Fun Run web site and in the Sutton Observer. Adults who wish to start with juniors may assemble and start with them from South Parade.

When entering, you agree to your email address, if supplied, being added to our email database which is used exclsuively by us to distribute our free e-newsletter.

All participants and spectators may be filmed, photographed or recorded for broadcast, security, health and safety puroses.
