Created by the design team at Reflection Marketing, the two new logos will be used throughout 2012 across all media platforms as the Great Midlands Fun Run celebrates its 10th event on Sunday, 10 June.
Event Director, Tracey Spare said:"It's a milestone I never envisaged reaching. After 21 years of the Royal Sutton Fun Run, I was somewhat wary of launching a new event in 2003, particularly after the success of the Royal Sutton Fun Run in generating over £1.2 million for charities and voluntary organisations.
"However, the public has continued to support the Fun Run and everyone who has made a contribution, can be extremely proud of what has been achieved in the intervening nine years.
"To have distributed over £1.24 million, with a record breaking £228,300 in 2011 alone, is a fabulous achievement.
"2012 is not only an important year for the Fun Run but with the summer Olympics and Paralympics being staged in London, it's probably the most significant sporting year ever in the UK.
"We are introducing some new initiatives in 2012, which I hope will add further enjoyment to the event for both participants and spectators alike."
