A record-breaking £345,022 will be distributed to 293 charities & volntary organisations nominated by those who participated in this year's 2014 Great Midlands Fun Run. The total now distributed since the event was relaunched in 2003 is £2.2 million.

The 2014 total of £345,022 was more than £43,000 higher than the 2013 record-breaking £302,457 and brings the 12-year total, since the first Great Midlands Fun Run in 2003, to a staggering £2.2 million.
